Kathmandu Valley Sight Seeing in Nepal


Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. It is a main icon or heart of Nepal. Its area is small in size. Kathmandu has many political, commercial, cultural hub of Nepal. It is framed for its natural, cultural, historic and holistic places. Kathmandu itself is small in size. But the main things over here cannot be visited in a single day. For detail visit, it may take a month to know a maximum of Kathmandu. Kathmandu is combined city of three districts i.e. Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur. They all have their own history and culture. We can say it is conquered by Prithvi Narayan Shah. Kathmandu city is full of artistic exposition of graceful temples, brick paved courtyards, giant streets, and elegant palaces. Kathmandu is only the city which is covered with hill from all the sides. Kathmandu is the most pilgrimage places for Hindus and Buddhists people.
In Kathmandu Valley Day Tour our main focused religious destinations are Swyambhunath, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Changunarayan Temple. We visit all this and explore all about them. We then visit two hectare (five acres), Golden Gate and fifty-five window palaces of brick and wood. Like this, we will have Bhaktapure curd. It is famous all over Nepal. Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu: Overnight hotel
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives from Everest Trekking Routes will welcome you. He/she will asset you and transfer you to the hotel for your overnight.
Day 02: Visit Kathmandu city, Swyambhunath, and Patan
Today we start our Kathmandu valley tour. At first, we visit Swayambhunath. It is known as the monkey temple. Swayambhunath is golden spire of the 5th-century. It is the religious site of Buddhist people. Swayambhu stupa is a colorful fluttering of prayer flags. It is full of monkeys. We need to climb the floor to reach the top. From the top, we can know how Kathmandu valley looks like. Finishing this we return back to have our lunch. Having lunch we rest for some time and visit Kathmandu's Durbar Square. It is one of three durbars (royal palace) squares of Kathmandu Valley. It is close to Hanuman Dhoka Palace. The two-hectare (five-acre) palace complex is divided into two main chowks. Visiting all around the place we return back and move to Patan Durbar square. Patan is 15 minutes drive from Kathmandu. It is in Lalitpur, city. Its beauty is separated by Bagmati River. Krishna Mandir is one of the grandeur of the square. It was built in 1637 by King Siddhinarsingh Malla. It is fully made up of stone. There is very less word to describe this. So to look it’s beauty we our self-need to be here.
Day 03: Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath
Today we make a complete tour of Kathmandu valley. In morning we go to Pashupatinath for visit. It is the most important Hindu temple in Nepal. It is devoted to Lord Shiva. Pashupati is considered to have a special concern for Nepal as it is included in world heritage site. Pashupatinath is an ancient plinth, by the banks of the holy Bagmati River. It stands here from the 16th century. Finishing here we turn our car and move to Bouddha. Bouddhanath is counted in the largest stupas in South Asia. It is known as Little Tibet. It has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Visiting all this we return back to our hotel and have lunch. Resting some time we again make a tour to Bhaktapur City. Here we can see Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It is a conglomeration of pagoda and shikhara style. We can see fifty-five window palaces of brick and wood. We visit the changunayan temple and the Golden Gate. Then we will have Bhaktapur curd. It is the tastiest curd in whole Nepal. Then we return back to our hotel. If we have time we can do shopping and visit Kathmandu city by walking. At night we celebrate Farewell Dinner together with the tour team.
Day 04: Final Departure
Now it’s time to say goodbye to the Kathmandu. Your journey in Nepal comes to an end today. You are transferred to the airport for your returning flight. Have a safe journey. Hope you will return back to Nepal again.
